The Government approves the norm on the determination of pensions

Following a decision by the Cabinet of Ministers on 13 October this year, the regulations on the procedure for appointing and paying State pensions were approved.

This regulation states the procedure for determining State pensions, the application of pension payments, recalculation, reinstatement, payment, recording of pensions, the provision of pensions, and other benefits to citizens.

The administrations of the organizations draw up a list of employees who will be entitled to a pension on both general and preferential terms next year, based on personal forms and workbooks.

Citizens have the right to apply for a pension at any time, without limitation of time, from the date on which the right to a pension arises.

When receiving the information necessary for the assignment (recalculation) of a pension from:

•    from the funded pension system;
•    from the central electronic register of individual recording of insurance contributions transferred to the pension fund;
•    from the centralized electronic register of individual accounts of wages of citizens;
•    a unified national system of work from the interdepartmental software and hardware complex and information systems of other ministries and departments.

The documents and information which must be attached to an application for appointment are not attached if they are available in the interdepartmental program and technical complex of the Unified National Labour System:

•    the award of an old-age pension;
•    the award of disability pension;
•    the award of a survivor’s pension;

If the person claiming a pension does not submit the necessary documents, the Pension Fund Office will assist in obtaining these documents from the organizations concerned.
