The aircraft of the national airline “Uzbekistan Airways” which departed from Jeddah with the first 245 pilgrims on board, yesterday 14 July at 21:50pm local time, landed at Tashkent International Airport. This is reported by the press service under JSC “Uzbekistan Airports”.

Pilgrims were met in the departure hall of the capital airport and delivered to the mosque “Novza” on special buses.  The Muslim board of Uzbekistan also advised the relatives of the pilgrims to meet them in front of the mosque “Novza”, not at the airport, in order to avoid traffic jams at the station and pre-port zones.

For reference, a total of 45 flights from Jeddah to Tashkent, Namangan, Karshi, Samarkand, Bukhara, Urgench, and Nukus are planned for the return of pilgrims to Uzbekistan.
