16752Certain travel agencies promise to facilitate the Hajj pilgrimage through different visas such as Umrah, tourism, or business. However, according to Saudi Arabia regulations, only the "Hajj-2024" visa suffices for the pilgrimage, as emphasized by the Committee on Religious Affairs.
Saudi Arabia mandates that foreign citizens performing the Hajj must possess a specific Hajj visa. Any attempt to perform the pilgrimage with alternative visas is strictly prohibited and punishable under Saudi law.
The Hajj quota designated for Uzbekistan is solely for pilgrims traveling through the organized Hajj journey arranged by the Committee on Religious Affairs and the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan.
Engaging in unauthorized travel will result in six months imprisonment, deportation, a 10-year ban from entering Saudi Arabia with any visa, and a fine of 100,000 Saudi Riyals (approximately 26,000 US dollars).
It was previously announced that a licensing system might be introduced for activities related to organizing and conducting the Umrah pilgrimage. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia cautioned potential Hajj pilgrims about the risks posed by fraudulent companies advertised on social media platforms worldwide.
