“Tyson” detained in Jizzakh (video)

A criminal group engaged in street hooliganism and intimidation, led by an individual known by the nickname “Tyson,” has been detained in the Sharof Rashidov District of Jizzakh Region. The regional Department of Internal Affairs reported the incident.

According to the information provided, the group was led by a local resident born in 1986, known as “Tyson,” who operated together with two accomplices born in 1988 and 1990. The group was found to have repeatedly committed acts of violence against citizens.

It was established that the suspects threatened residents with death, creating an atmosphere of fear and instability in the community. During operational measures, law enforcement officers determined that the group had openly disregarded public order rules and disrupted public peace near a grocery store in the neighborhood.

In one incident, the suspects assaulted a local resident born in 1993, striking him on the head with a broken piece of glass. When other citizens attempted to intervene and stop the altercation, they were also attacked and injured without provocation.

As a result, the victim was hospitalized at the Jizzakh branch of the Republican Research Center for Emergency Medical Care with diagnoses including a concussion, a fracture of the right frontal bone, and bruising to the nasal area.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 277, Part 3, paragraph “g” of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan (hooliganism), and preventive detention has been applied to the suspects.

It was also noted that the group’s leader had previously been convicted under several articles of the Criminal Code, including Article 97 (intentional homicide), Article 105 (intentional infliction of moderate bodily harm), Article 112 (threats of killing or use of violence), Article 166 (robbery), and Article 169 (theft). Despite serving previous sentences, he reportedly failed to draw conclusions from earlier convictions.

For reference, earlier reports stated that individuals attempting to arrange the murder of an acquaintance through a hired killer were detained in Samarkand.
