Father brutally assaults his children in Jizzakh (video)

Videos circulating on social media show a father in the Jizzakh region insulting and brutally beating his children. The Children’s Ombudsman has issued a statement regarding the incident.

It was noted that the case is currently being reviewed by the regional representative of the Children’s ombudsman in Jizzakh and other responsible authorities. According to initial findings, a citizen identified as S.Sh., residing in the Jizzakh region, subjected his two children to physical abuse as a result of a family dispute.

It was reported that strict measures are currently being taken against the father, while the children are being placed in a safe environment. They are also receiving necessary psychological and social assistance from specialists of the regional Human Center under the National Agency for Social Protection and law enforcement authorities.

The Children’s Ombudsman announced that it will continue to monitor the situation and provide additional updates on the case.

It is worth noting that earlier, a mother living in Fergana city, Fergana region, physically abused her child during a TikTok live broadcast. Following an inquiry by the Children’s Ombudsman, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Agency for Social Protection investigated the incident and opened a social case to ensure the child’s protection. The child is currently receiving the necessary social and psychological support, while corrective measures with the mother are ongoing.
