Luxury purchase: Masharipov adds ‘Gelik’ to his collection

Jaloliddin Masharipov, winger for Uzbekistan’s national football team and Iran’s “Istiklol” club, has purchased a Mercedes-Benz G-Class, popularly known as “Gelik.” He announced this on his Instagram page.
Masharipov shared a photo of the white “Gelik” on Instagram. Reports suggest that the car’s price is approximately $350,000.
Earlier, another member of Uzbekistan’s national team, Abdukodir Khusanov, received a similar luxury car as a gift from Ulugbek Asanbaev, an Uzbek football official originally from Kazakhstan.
