A new ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kuwait was appointed

A new Uzbekistan ambassador has been designated for Kuwait. Today, on February 6, Ayubkhan Yunusov, who has been appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, arrived in Kuwait City. This information was relayed by the "Dunyo" news agency.
Before his assignment to Kuwait, Yunusov served as the head of the Consular-Legal Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A 50-year-old diplomat, he holds degrees from Tashkent Islamic Institute named after Imam al-Bukhari, Al-Azhar University (Egypt), University of World Economy and Diplomacy, and Tashkent State Law Institute. His expertise includes international law, Islamic studies, and Arabic philology, with a Doctorate in legal sciences.
Since 2003, Yunusov has held various positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including roles in the central office, the embassy in Saudi Arabia, and consulates general in Jeddah and Dubai (UAE).
He is proficient in Arabic, Russian, and English.
Yunusov assumes the position previously held by Bahromjon Aloev, who served as Uzbekistan's ambassador to Kuwait from 2016 to 2022.
It's noteworthy that on February 4, Abdusalam Khatamov, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan, arrived in Muscat, the capital of Oman. On February 5, Uzbekistan also appointed a new ambassador to Belarus. In Minsk, Rahmatulla Nazarov commenced his duties as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary ambassador of Uzbekistan.
