Venue and time of Uzbekistan’s matches against UAE and Qatar confirmed

The venues and kick-off times for the Uzbekistan national football team's matches against the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, as part of the third qualifying round of the Asian region for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, have been officially announced. This was reported by the Uzbekistan Football Association.

According to the report, Uzbekistan will face the UAE on June 5 at the “Al Nahyan” Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The match is scheduled to kick off at 21:00 Tashkent time. The clash with Qatar will take place on June 10, starting at 18:45 Tashkent time.

For context, Uzbekistan is currently placed second in Group A with 17 points after eight rounds. The UAE follows with 13 points in third place, while Qatar holds fourth position with 10 points. A draw against the UAE will be enough to secure Uzbekistan’s qualification for the World Cup.
