Starting from June 28, metro train services will be temporarily suspended on a section of the Tashkent Metro line beginning from the Quruvchilar (Builders) station. This was announced by the Tashkent Metro administration.
The suspension is part of planned preventive maintenance aimed at ensuring long-term operational safety and improving the quality of services provided to passengers.
In particular, the shutdown will affect the segment between the "Technopark" and "Qipchoq" stations. Work will be carried out in stages over three months. The suspension from June 28 marks the final stage of the scheduled maintenance program.
To compensate for the interruption in metro service, a large-scale temporary bus route will be launched, running between the "Qipchoq," "Yangiobod," and "Keptak" metro stops. These shuttle buses will operate daily from 05:00 in the morning until 11:00 p.m.
Previously, metro services were also suspended between the "Turan" (13th stop) and "Turan" (14th stop) stations as part of ongoing system improvements.
