Tashkent apartment gas blast: Rescue operations underway (video)

A gas explosion occurred in a multi-story residential building in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent. The Tashkent City Emergency Situations Department reported the incident.

According to the report, on March 1 at 15:23, the Tashkent City Emergency Situations Department received information about a gas explosion in an apartment located in the Karasu 4 neighborhood of the Mirzo Ulugbek district. Fire and rescue crews promptly arrived at the scene.

It was noted that employees from the Emergency Situations Department, the Internal Affairs Department, the State Security Service, the prosecutor's office, and other relevant organizations also responded to the incident. Currently, rescue operations are ongoing, and four people have been rescued. No casualties have been reported so far.

Earlier, a gas-air mixture explosion occurred at a gas filling station in the Shahrixon district of Andijan region. As a result, two individuals present at the gas filling station sustained injuries. They were admitted to the Central Hospital of the district medical association to receive qualified emergency medical care.
