Road closures in Tashkent: Alternative routes recommended

The intersection of Sodiq Azimov Street and "O'zbekiston Ovozi" Street in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent will be temporarily closed, according to the district administration's press service.
It was reported that in order to accelerate ongoing construction and repair works, vehicle traffic at this intersection will be temporarily restricted from 12:00 on July 2 until 08:00 on July 5.
For reference, drivers coming from Mustaqillik Avenue can use Mahatma Gandhi Street to turn around. Additionally, vehicles coming from Mahtumkuli Street can turn around at the section of Sodiq Azimov Street where it intersects with "O'zbekiston Ovozi" Street.
"Repair work will be carried out around the clock in two shifts. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and assure you that traffic will be restored soon," the statement said.
