Fire destroys electric vehicle in Tashkent: Investigations underway

In the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent, an electric vehicle caught fire late on April 17, 2025. This was confirmed by the city’s Emergency Situations Department.
The fire was reported at 23:51 in the Yalangach neighborhood. Emergency crews arrived on the scene at 11:56 pm, contained the fire by 11:59, pm and extinguished it completely. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.
The fire caused damage to the vehicle, and investigations are underway to determine the cause and estimate material losses.
Previously, another electric vehicle caught fire while charging in the Chilanzar district, Tashkent, on Furkat Street. That incident similarly resulted in no injuries or fatalities.
