Rising rents: Fully renovated apartments in Tashkent now $1,380

In January this year, rental prices for fully renovated 3- and 4-room apartments in Tashkent increased by 0.1 and 0.3 percent, reaching $1,381, respectively. This was reported by the press service of the Institute for Macroeconomic and Regional Research.

It is noted that in January, average rental prices for renovated apartments in the capital decreased by 0.1 percent compared to December, and for fully renovated apartments by 0.3 percent.

In January 2024, the average rental price for 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments with average renovation decreased by 0.3 percent and 0.4 percent, respectively, compared to December, while for 3-bedroom and 4-bedroom apartments it increased by 0.1 percent and 0.3 percent, respectively.

Relatively affordable rental prices offered for average renovation apartments:

• Sergeli district: 1-bedroom - 297 USD, 2-bedroom - 355 USD, 3-bedroom - 415 USD, 4-bedroom - 419 USD
• Almazar district: 1-bedroom - 293 USD, 2-bedroom - 352 USD, 3-bedroom - 419 USD, 4-bedroom - 493 USD

Relatively expensive rental prices:

• Mirabad district: 1-room apartment - $344, 2-room apartment - $512, 3-room apartment - $643, 4-room apartment - $705
• Yakkasaroy district: 1-room apartment - $383, 2-room apartment - $487, 3-room apartment - $677, 4-room apartment - $722

During this period, the average rental price for fully renovated 1- and 3-room apartments decreased by 0.5 percent, for 2-room apartments by 0.7 percent, and for 4-room apartments by 0.5 percent.

Relatively cheap rental prices for fully renovated housing:

• Sergeli district: 1-room - 321 USD, 2-room - 417 USD, 3-room - 513 USD, 4-room - 641 USD
• Uchtepa district: 1-room - 386 USD, 2-room - 450 USD, 3-room - 534 USD, 4-room - 624 USD

Relatively expensive rental prices:

• Mirabad district: 1-room - 485 USD, 2-room - 731 USD, 3-room - 1027 USD, 4-room - 1328 USD
• Shaykhantohur district: 1-room - 521 USD, 2-room - 732 USD, 3-room - 1093 USD, 4-room - 1381 USD

During this period, average rental prices for renovated apartments in the capital decreased by 1.3% compared to October, while average prices for fully renovated apartments remained almost unchanged.
