A “jiguli” vehicle crossing the railway in the Surkhandarya region was hit by a train. This was reported by the Information Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Department for Ensuring Security in Transport and Tourism Facilities.

According to the source, the car accident happened today, June 21, at 08:10 and was caused by the carelessness of the driver of the “jiguli 2107” (67 years old), named M.M.

The intercity passenger train No. 6376 “Termiz-Sariosiyo” hit the car while crossing an unprotected part of the railway between the “Kumkurgan-Elbayan” railway stations.

“There were no injuries. The passenger train stopped at 08:12 and resumed its movement at 08:50.”
