A total of 210 vehicles and more than 2,000 personnel from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and other relevant organizations were involved in extinguishing the fire in the warehouse in the Sergeli district. According to preliminary studies, the fire was extinguished in a warehouse area of 15,000 square meters, and an area of 30,000 square meters was saved. According to the statement from the Ministry, the fire-rescue units reached the fire at 02:48, and as a result of quick actions, the fire was surrounded at 05:02 and completely extinguished at 10:47.

Based on the order of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a Government Commission was formed under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Ochilbay Ramatov to investigate the emergency situation, eliminate the losses, and provide assistance to the victims.

To the scene of the fire, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Head of Civil Protection, Abdulla Aripov, along with officials from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the government of Tashkent City, the Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Customs Department, and other services that are part of the state system for preventing and responding to such situations, arrived.

At the scene of the incident, a rapid headquarters was established in cooperation with relevant organizations and services.

"The situation is under full control, and work is now underway to eliminate its consequences. Investigations and the determination of the amount of material damage are being carried out in cooperation with the Tashkent City Prosecutor's Office, the General Department of Internal Affairs, and the Emergency Situations Department in connection with the fire, pending the preliminary investigation," the official statement said.
