17-year-old boy beaten by a bully in Samarkand (video)

A video circulating on social media shows a teenager being beaten in a store in the Urgut district of the Samarkand region. The Children’s Ombudsman has provided information on the case.

On April 16 of this year, in a grocery store in the Urgut district, a man identified as K.F. beat his spouse’s minor brother, N.S., born in 2008, over a family dispute, causing bodily harm. The case is currently under the control of the Children’s Ombudsman.

The district’s Internal Affairs Department is conducting a pre-investigation into the incident. A forensic medical examination has been ordered to assess the severity of the injuries. Further details will be provided once the legal measures taken are clarified based on the investigation's results.

In a separate incident, an 18-year-old man from the Surkhandarya region was recently sentenced to 7 years and 6 months in prison for stabbing his girlfriend to death. During the court hearing, the young man stated that his girlfriend had been harassing him and his family and partially confessed to his guilt.
