The Embassy of Uzbekistan helped a woman who had fallen into a difficult situation in Russia return to Uzbekistan with her three children. This was reported by the Dunyo news agency.

According to the report, a citizen of Uzbekistan identified as A.S. contacted the consular section of the embassy. She said that she had been living in Russia without legal status for more than 15 years and was unable to provide proper living conditions for her children due to a lack of documents and financial resources. She requested practical assistance in returning to Uzbekistan.

It was reported that, as a result of the prompt efforts of consular officials and cooperation with relevant Russian state authorities, birth certificates and return certificates were issued for the woman’s three children without requiring payment of consular fees.

In addition, with the assistance of the representative office of Uzbekistan’s Migration Agency in Russia, air tickets on the Moscow–Urgench route were purchased for the woman and her children, ensuring their safe return home.

It should be recalled that earlier, an Uzbek citizen who was left in a difficult condition after a road accident in Türkiye was also returned to Uzbekistan.
