Cultural and diplomatic milestones achieved during Mirziyoyev’s visit

The working visit of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to the Republic of Tajikistan has concluded. This was reported by the Presidential Press Service.
As part of a program rich in high-level events, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held negotiations with President Emomali Rahmon in the city of Khujand and participated in a joint meeting with the leaders of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
The opening ceremony of the Friendship Stele and the signing of the historic treaty on the junction point of the three countries’ state borders took place.
The leaders visited the historical and cultural complex of Khujand Fortress and attended a joint concert program performed by artists from the three nations.
At the airport, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was seen off by President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan.
The head of state departed for Tashkent.
