Uzbek MMA fighter Mahmud Murodov, competing in the middleweight division of Oktagon MMA, has issued a firm challenge to his potential opponents: if they want to fight him, they must stick to 84kg. He made the statement during an interview with the promotion’s press service.
Murodov emphasized that he will not move to other weight categories, stating:
"My opponent wants to fight at 77kg, but I won’t drop down. I won’t go up to 93kg either. If anyone wants to face me in the octagon, they need to meet the 84kg requirement. Fleuri challenged me at 93kg, but I won’t change my weight."
Murodov is set to enter the octagon on June 14 at Oktagon 72, where he will face Czech fighter Patrik Kinsl.
