New law establishes liability for air pollution at construction sites

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during a session on May 13, emphasized that quality and safety in construction must be prioritized. He provided instructions on the scientific development of these areas and the introduction of modern approaches to the industry. This was reported by the Presidential Press Service.

It was noted that on-site studies were conducted with the participation of specialists from state design institutes. Based on the results of these studies and the analysis of the seismic situation in various regions, proposals were developed to increase the earthquake resistance of multi-story buildings and further improve the seismic safety of the population.

A new practice for studying buildings will be introduced, involving foreign specialists. The exchange of experience in the construction of houses resistant to earthquakes and other natural disasters will be expanded. Buildings will undergo instrumental technical inspections, and any deficiencies will be addressed.

Based on these studies and foreign experience, amendments will be made to regulatory documents regarding the assessment of seismic hazard, impact, and risk.

We recall that earlier it was reported that construction organizations that widely use wall materials will be given priority on the “Transparent Construction” platform starting August 1, 2025.
