The head of the Department of Internal Affairs becomes the governor of Nukus district

A new mayor was appointed to Nukus district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.  This was reported on the “State Management” Telegram channel.

It was reported that Ziyauatdin Imamatdinovich Zaytov was appointed to the post of governor of Nukus district.

Before the appointment, Z.Zaytov worked as the head of the department of coordination of the activities of internal affairs bodies in the city of Nukus.  He also served as the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Chimboy district, Kungirot district, first deputy chairman of the Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan.

Until that time, Umirbay Usnatdinov was the governor of Nukus district.  At the end of April 2020, he was appointed acting governor of Nukus district by order of the Chairman of the Dzhokorgi Council of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.  Before that, he served as the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
