Gayaneh Umerova receives “Dostlik” honor

Gayaneh Olegovna Umerova, the Head of the creative economy and tourism department of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, was awarded the “Dostlik” Order. The relevant decree was signed today, August 25, by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Gayaneh Olegovna Umerova was born on April 22, 1985, in Tashkent. She is an art historian by profession. From 2020 to 2023, she served as the Executive Director of the Uzbekistan Fund for the Development of Culture and Arts under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and as Secretary General of the National Commission of Uzbekistan for UNESCO. In July 2023, she was appointed Chairperson of the Fund for the Development of Culture and Arts. In October 2023, she became Deputy Head of the Social Development Department of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan. Since last month, Umerova has been serving as the Head of the Creative Economy and Tourism Department of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan.

Additionally, by the relevant decree of the President, the following staff members of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan were awarded the “For Faithful Service” Medal:

• Jasurbek Shavkatovich Avezov – Responsible Officer of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan
• Ella Anatolyevna Jahongirova – Head of the Department of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan
• Nodir Qadamovich Jumaniazov – Responsible Officer of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan
• Gozal Gairatovna Ishoqova – Responsible Officer of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan
• Timur Masharibovich Qilichov – Responsible Officer of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan
• Iravzal Mirodilovich Mirakulov – Responsible Officer of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan
• Ziyod Mahamajonovich Mirahmedov – Responsible Officer of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan
• Feruz Qosimovich Rahmatov – Responsible Officer of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan
• Saidkhon Talatovich Saidolimov – Responsible Officer of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan
• Furqat Salimovich Khojaev – Responsible Officer of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan

In addition, Nurali Askaralievich Mirzaev, Specialist of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, was awarded the “Shuhrat” Medal.
