Specialist of the People's Reception Office in Fergana caught taking a bribe

A responsible employee of the People's Reception Office in the Fergana region has been caught accepting a bribe of 5 million soums. The State Security Service reported this.

According to the report, the leading specialist of the People's Reception Office of the Uzbek district in the Fergana region, born in 1965, was detained by officers of the State Security Service, the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General's Office, and internal affairs bodies. He was caught with material evidence while taking 5 million soums in exchange for destroying an enforcement document filed against him in the district Compulsory Enforcement Department for credit debt through his acquaintances.

A criminal case has been initiated against this person and an investigation is underway.

It is worth noting that earlier, a criminal case was also initiated against an official in the energy sector in Surkhandarya region for accepting a bribe.
