Cool air masses to enter Uzbekistan from tomorrow

On October 18, relatively cool air masses will begin moving into Uzbekistan from the northwest, the Hydrometeorological Service Agency under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change reported.
According to the agency, warm and dry weather will persist across the country during the day on October 17, with daytime temperatures ranging between 23–28°C, and 20–25°C in the northern regions.
Beginning October 18, cooler air will gradually spread across the country, causing temperatures to drop. Daytime temperatures are expected to range from 21–26°C (15–20°C in the north) on October 18, and from 18–23°C (13–18°C in the north) on October 19. Nighttime temperatures will fall to 6–11°C, and to 3–8°C in northern areas.
Dry weather will remain over the weekend, though brief rain showers are possible in parts of the Bukhara and Navoi regions late on October 18. On October 19, short rain is expected in some foothill and mountainous areas, possibly turning to snow at higher elevations. Winds will blow at 7–12 m/s.
In Tashkent, variable weather conditions are expected with no precipitation. Winds from the east will reach speeds of 3–8 m/s. Daytime temperatures will be around 25–27°C today, 23–25°C tomorrow, and 19–21°C on Sunday, while nighttime temperatures will gradually drop to 8–10°C.
