Young man beaten in Chirchik died in hospital

On March 5 of this year, a 32-year-old resident of the city of Chirchik, Tashkent region, got into an argument with the owner of a liquor store, was injured, and eventually died. This was reported to QALAMPIR.UZ by Hayot Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office.

It is reported that at approximately 19:00, a citizen from the Parkent district of the Tashkent region, while returning home after closing his liquor store in the city of Chirchik, met another citizen he knew from before. The acquaintance opened the liquor store and asked him to give him alcohol. The owner of the store refused his acquaintance. As a result, a fight broke out between the two. The owner of the store hit his acquaintance on the head and face several times, causing serious injuries.

As a result, the citizen was taken to the Chirchik City Medical Association with his injuries. According to the medical association's report, the citizen was found to have "an open brain injury, a contusion of the brain, an open fracture of the left temporal bone, a crushing and tearing injury to the right temporal bone of the head, and traumatic shock."

The next day, on March 6, despite the medical care provided by the doctors, the injured citizen died in the intensive care unit.

In this case, the Investigation Department under the Chirchik City Internal Affairs Department initiated a criminal case against the owner of the store under Article 104, Part 3, Clause "d" of the Criminal Code (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm), and a preliminary investigation was launched, and the accused was detained.

For your information, according to the law, a person who commits such a crime can be sentenced to eight to ten years in prison.

On social networks, the mother of the deceased writes that her son got into a fight with a woman, saying that he would save her, and as a result, he was beaten, seriously injured, and hospitalized, where he died. The woman left a post expressing dissatisfaction with the fact that law enforcement agencies are treating this criminal case as a street fight.

It should be recalled that earlier in the Payarik district of the Samarkand region, a 16-year-old boy died while felling a tree. During the felling of a tree in a children's home, a cut branch of a tree fell on him.
