The number of citizens wanted under court rulings related to alimony and debt payments has been revealed, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office reported.
According to the statement, the Search Department of the Tashkent City Office of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement is carrying out systematic work to locate wanted persons and property.
Based on court decisions, 615 individuals declared debtors by district branches of the bureau have been placed on the wanted list. Over the past nine months of this year, 430 wanted persons have been located and subsequent enforcement actions have been carried out. In the most recent period alone, 62 individuals were found.
It was also revealed that 69 debtors obligated to pay alimony had left the country before court documents entered into force. An interstate search has been launched for them, and relevant inquiries have been sent in accordance with international agreements.
“Currently, consistent measures are being taken to protect children’s interests, ensure full implementation of court rulings, and uphold the rule of law,” the statement said.
Earlier, it was reported that a father from Syrdarya with an alimony debt of 63 million soums was found working at a cattle farm in another region.
