Zoir Mirzaev becomes governor of the Tashkent region

Today 22 September, at the meeting of the Tashkent Regional Council of People’s Deputies under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the candidacy of Zoir Mirzaev for the post of khakim of the region was recommended and approved.

At the end of the meeting, the President stressed that Zoir Mirzaev, who enjoys the high confidence of the people’s representatives, should now show the quality of justice, loyalty, honesty, responsibility, dedication, and diligence to serve the people of the Tashkent region.

We remind you that Zoir Mirzaev has been acting as khakim of the Tashkent region since November 2021.
