Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, wife of Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and chairman of the board of trustees of the "Zamin" Foundation, held a meeting with Hans Kluge, director of the European regional office of the World Health Organization (WHO), according to a report by the "Zamin" Foundation.
During the meeting, they discussed collaboration between the WHO and the "Zamin" Foundation to enhance medical services for children, particularly those with oncological diseases, including their rehabilitation and the development of palliative care in Uzbekistan.
The discussion also focused on environmental protection, highlighting the importance of involving international experts to establish and improve international air quality and drinking water standards.
