The body of a baby was found in a canal flowing through the territory of the Sharof Rashidov district in the Jizzakh region. Hayat Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the General Prosecutor's Office, informed QALAMPIR.UZ about this.
According to him, on June 21 of this year, the body of a boy was discovered in the canal within the Sharaf Rashidov district.
The initial report from the forensic examination stated that the baby was stillborn.
It has been reported that the district prosecutor's office is currently conducting an investigation to determine the identities of those involved in the incident and to examine other circumstances.
Furthermore, the regional prosecutor's office has assumed control over the investigation's proceedings until further notice.
