Man Arrested in Jizzakh for Fraudulently Sending Citizen to South Africa Instead of USA

A man who promised to send a citizen to the USA but instead sent him to South Africa was arrested in Jizzakh. This was reported by the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of Jizzakh region.

It was noted that I.M., a resident of the Khayrobod neighborhood in Jizzakh, reported the incident to the authorities. According to I.M., his son M.T. gave $14,300 to A.Ya. to send him to work in America but instead sent him to South Africa.

Additionally, A.Ya. demanded another $6,700 to resolve the situation, leaving the applicant’s son stranded and helpless in Africa.

"Following this complaint, an urgent operation was conducted, resulting in the arrest of A.Ya. A criminal case has been opened, and an investigation is ongoing," the report stated.

Earlier, individuals attempting to illegally send citizens to America were also apprehended in the Samarkand region and Tashkent city.
