Criminal gang engaged in raids in Jizzakh was caught

10405Authorities in the Jizzakh region have identified and apprehended a criminal gang involved in a series of raids. This information was disclosed by the regional Internal Affairs Department.
According to the report, three individuals—two aged 36 and one aged 41—broke the window of a Gazelle car, assaulted the driver with an iron rod, and injured him. This incident occurred on the Tashkent-Termiz M-39 road within the Jizzakh region. The assailants stole 350,000 soums and the driver's mobile phone. Subsequently, the victim reported the incident to the local authorities.
Following the complaint, a rapid investigation was conducted, leading to the identification of one of the suspects and the discovery that they were traveling in a Cobalt car. The vehicle was tracked and apprehended in the Navoi region. Further investigations revealed that the suspects had also broken into a grocery store in the Zarbdor district, stealing a TV, a laptop, and goods valued at one million soums.
As a result, a criminal case has been initiated by the investigative department under the Jizzakh regional internal affairs department, citing Article 164 (Invasion), part 3, paragraph "a" of the Criminal Code. Preliminary investigations are currently underway.
