In the Jizzakh region, 55 deputy mayors (assistant governors) were disciplined for failing to address the appeals of local business owners promptly, as reported by the Business Ombudsman.

It was noted that upon reviewing the timely handling of business owners' appeals, the Business Ombudsman found that certain deputy mayors had violated legal requirements.

"According to Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 373, a deputy mayor is required to review an entrepreneur's loan application within five days and provide their conclusion on the Single Electronic Platform. However, 55 deputy mayors in the Jizzakh region failed to meet this obligation. As a result of their inaction, the appeals of more than 110 entrepreneurs were not addressed promptly," the report stated.

It was also reported that the loan application of the head of "Yakhshi Niyat" LLC (the name has been changed) in the Zomin district was reviewed 60 days past the deadline.

Those responsible for these legal violations have been held administratively accountable.

It should be noted that earlier, the deputy governor of Shumanay district in the Republic of Karakalpakstan was held accountable for addressing an appeal submitted by the head of an LLC through the "Entrepreneur's Virtual Office" more than a month after it was filed.
