The World Boxing Championship among adults continues today in Tashkent. Olympic champion Hasanboy Dosmatov had his first fight of the tournament on the 4th day of the competition.
Following the fight between Dosmatov and Alberto Jimenez of Mexico, Dosmatov's trainer Tolkin Qilichev responded to a question asked by a QALAMPIR.UZ reporter "Is this the last amateur boxing championship for Dosmatov?"
"Dosmatov himself will decide this, I can't say anything about it yet. I think this championship should be one of the last for Dosmatov as he is getting older. The main goal is the Olympics, "If he is currently the strongest in Uzbekistan, why not take him to the Olympics," said Qilichev.
It should be recalled that on the 4th day of the World Boxing Championship, several Uzbek leather glove masters entered the ring and maintained the winning streak of the Uzbek team.
