Uzbek boxers clinched a total of 14 medals at the recent international tournament

From February 2 to 11, the esteemed "Stranja" international boxing event, also dubbed the "Small World Championship," unfolded in Sofia, Bulgaria. The Uzbek team emerged victorious, securing the top spot in the overall team standings.

Competing across 13 weight divisions for men and 6 for women, athletes such as Khojanazar Nortojiev, Abdumalik Khalokov, Iqboljon Holdorov, Javohir Ummataliev, and Jahongir Zakirov claimed gold medals for Uzbekistan. Sabina Boboqulova excelled in the women's -50 kg category, clinching the gold.

Shahzod Muzaffarov in the -57 kg category and Adhamjon Muhiddinov in the -63.5 kg category earned silver medals.

Bronze medals were contributed by Asilbek Jalilov, Hasanboy Dosmatov, Dilshod Abdumurodov, Fazliddin Erkinboev, Samandar Jalolov, and Humorabonu Mamajonova.

Ultimately, Uzbekistan topped the competition, surpassing both India and the host country, Bulgaria, in the final rankings.
