On January 15, tragedy struck as a Volkswagen collided with the rear of a Matiz stopped at a traffic light in Navoi, resulting in the deaths of two individuals. This information was provided by the regional DIA press service.
Around 2:00 a.m. on I. Karimov Street in Navoi, a Matiz was stationary at a red light when a Volkswagen ID6 cross pro rear-ended the vehicle.
Tragically, the occupants in the back seat of Matiz, identified as E.U. and O.G., lost their lives at the scene due to the injuries sustained.
Investigations into this incident are currently underway by the investigative department of the DIA in Navoi city.
