A new leader has been named for the legal professional development center

Per the Minister of Justice's directive, Esemurat Sultamuratovich Kanyazov has been appointed as the director of the Legal Training Center within the Ministry, as announced by the Ministry's press service today, April 5th.

Esemurat Kanyazov, born in 1971 in the Shumanoi district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, holds degrees from Moscow State Highway Institute (1993) and Karakalpak State University (1999), with backgrounds in engineering and law.

His career spans various roles: advisor to the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Karakalpakstan (1996), assistant to the Minister of Justice of Uzbekistan (April-October 2001), head of the Department of Economic Legislation of the Ministry of Justice (2001-2005), deputy minister of justice (2005-2011), first deputy minister of justice (2011-2013), and rector of Tashkent State Law University (2013-2019). Before his recent appointment, Kanyazov served as head of the Department of Intellectual Property at the Ministry of Justice.
