Fraudster who attempted to enroll in a law institute was caught

3284A swindler was apprehended in Almalyk, Tashkent region, after promising to secure admission to a Kyrgyz law institute on a state grant. The Department for Combating Economic Crimes reported the incident.
It was noted that the individual, previously convicted of fraud, was caught with physical evidence after obtaining $5,000 from citizen S.Kh. by gaining their trust.
"A criminal case has been initiated under Article 168 (fraud) and Article 28, 211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are underway," the report stated.
It should be noted that earlier, another fraudster who promised admission to Tashkent State Law University was also caught.
