Fraudster who promised to arrange employment in England was apprehended in Samarkand

2108A fraudster who assured a citizen of employment opportunities in England has been arrested in the Nurabad district of the Samarkand region. This information was disclosed by the Department for Combating Economic Crimes.
The investigation, conducted by the Nurabad district office of the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office, revealed that the fraudster, identified as E.Kh., had unlawfully acquired a total of $10,400 by promising to arrange employment for five individuals in England through connections at a company there.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 168 of the Criminal Code (fraud), and the investigation is ongoing.
Additionally, it is noteworthy that the head of an LLC in Tashkent, who had previously promised to secure employment for citizens in European countries, has also been arrested.
