Now, some minor traffic violations committed for the first time may no longer result in a fine but instead be subject to an “administrative warning” measure. This proposal is outlined in a draft law developed in accordance with the President’s instructions.

According to the draft, for certain minor breaches of traffic rules, individuals who commit the offense for the first time will receive a warning from a DPS inspector. This warning can be issued only once within one year.

It is also noted that, with this decision, starting from June 1 this year, violations involving crossing road lines will no longer be recorded by specialized automated photo and video recording software and hardware. An exception is made for the “stop-line” (sign 5.33).

According to the decision, from June 1 onward, work related to repairing or repainting road lines on city roads will not be permitted between 07:00 and 21:00 (except on rest days and in certain unavoidable circumstances).

Furthermore, starting from September 1 this year, in any area where stationary or mobile radars for speed control are installed, a “Radar” road sign will be mandatory in zones that are no less than 250 meters and no more than 500 meters in length.

In addition, on bus lanes designated by the letter “A”, the movement of other vehicles between 23:00 and 06:00 will not be considered a violation.

Moreover, additional informational signs indicating the effective periods for the “No Stopping” and “No Parking” road signs will be installed.

Finally, to prevent prolonged traffic jams at certain railway crossings, the decision stipulates that “Stop” signs at these crossings will be replaced with controlled traffic lights.
