Traffic police officer saves drowning man in Kashkadarya (video)

A video circulating on social media shows a traffic police officer saving a man from drowning. The incident was confirmed by the Traffic Safety Service.
According to the report, the incident took place on July 16 in the Kashkadarya region. At approximately 16:20, traffic officer Nodir Mirzayev, who was on duty near the main canal in the Karshi district, noticed a man struggling in the water. Without hesitation, the officer jumped into the canal and rescued the individual.
The man was given first aid at the scene and then taken to a hospital. His condition is currently reported as stable.
Another citizen, Ma’ruf Choriyev, who witnessed the situation, also entered the water and assisted in pulling the man to safety.
This is not the first such incident in recent months. On May 5, two girls fell into the Borijar canal in Tashkent. Abdumannop Samikov, 43, died while attempting to save them. Nurmuhammad Mamasaliyev, an employee of the Borijar sports complex who played a key role in rescuing the girls and Samikov, was later awarded the “Courage” medal for his bravery.
