Impossible Achieved - Islombek Ismoilov on U-17 victory

Uzbekistan U-17 national football team head coach Islombek Ismoilov shared his thoughts on their victory over Saudi Arabia and their championship title.

“First of all, congratulations to the people of Uzbekistan on this victory. Behind this triumph lies the hard work of many individuals. The Uzbekistan Football Association has organized numerous training camps and created opportunities for us to participate in international tournaments. Our homeland has always been the land of heroes and brave souls, and once again, our players showcased this on the field. It was a fantastic match, a true example of courage and resilience. I want to thank the players; they accomplished an impossible task. Words cannot describe our emotions. Ahead of us lies an even more significant challenge—the World Cup, where we will continue to defend the honor of our country with dignity,” said Ismoilov.

It is worth noting that the President of the Asian Football Confederation, Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, had earlier congratulated Uzbekistan’s U-17 national team on their championship victory.
