Today, November 15, Dilshod Sultanov was relieved of his duties as mayor of Yangiyol at an extraordinary session of the Yangiyol City Council, according to a report from the Tashkent regional government.

The session's agenda included an organizational issue, and the decision by regional governor Zoyir Mirzayev to dismiss Sultanov was approved.

The reason for Sultanov's dismissal has not been disclosed.

For reference, Dilshod Sultanov, born in 1980, graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Railway Engineers in 2002 with a degree in economics. He began his career in the Ministry of Finance in 2003.
