3 Uzbek boxers secure top spots in updated WBA rankings

Uzbek professional boxers Hasanboy Dosmatov, Murodjon Ahmadaliyev, and Shahram Giyosov have claimed the top positions in their respective weight categories in the World Boxing Association (WBA) rankings. This update was announced by the WBA press service.

Eight boxers from Uzbekistan made it into the updated rankings. Isroil Madrimov is recognized as the champion in the super welterweight category.

Hasanboy Dosmatov leads in the minimum weight division, Shahram Giyosov is first in welterweight, and Murodjon Ahmadaliev tops the first lightweight category.

WBA rankings as of the end of June:

- Hasanboy Dosmatov (minimum weight) – 1st place (same as last month)
- Murodjon Ahmadaliyev (first welterweight) – 1st place (same as last month)
- Muhammad Shekhov (first welterweight) – 10th place (same as last month)
- Otabek Kholmatov (lightweight) – 5th place (down from 4th place last month)
- Botir Akhmedov (super lightweight) – 13th place (down from 10th place last month)
- Shahram Giyosov (welterweight) – 1st place (same as last month)
- Isroil Madrimov (super welterweight) – category champion
- Bektemir Meliqoziyev (super middleweight) – 5th place (down from 4th place last month)
