The payment contract amounts for higher education institutions in Uzbekistan for the 2024/2025 academic year have been approved, as reported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation.
According to the report from the meeting of the State Commission on Admission to Higher Education Institutions, the cost of one-year training per student, under the basic fee contract for undergraduate and master's degree programs, has been approved for state higher education institutions across the republic.
For the 2023/2024 academic year, the fee amounts have been increased by approximately 15%, compared to the contract amounts at state higher education institutions in the republic.
The payment contract amounts have not been adjusted for the past four years, and the amount of scholarships has not been indexed since 2021.
It is important to note that the price of the contract was previously increased at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
