New doctors will be given a bonus of up to 1 million soms

Young doctors starting a new job in Uzbekistan will be given special monthly allowances of up to 1 million soms.  This was reported by the Ministry of Justice.

Yesterday, on 16 January, the regulation “On the Fund for Financial Promotion and Development of Medical Institutions” was approved.  According to the regulations, the content of the fund will be spent in the following 2 directions:

• 75 percent of all state medical institutions to provide financial incentives for medical, pharmaceutical and other employees;
• 25 percent for strengthening, modernization and repair of the material and technical base of the medical institution.

The following types of financial incentives are used for medical institution employees:

•  Monthly bonuses of up to 100% of the monthly position salary for highly qualified, outstanding, honest and conscientious medical and pharmaceutical employees of the medical institution, and up to 75% for other employees;
• Special monthly allowances up to 1 million soms for potential young doctors who have just started work;
•  Additional monthly allowances of up to 30% of the position salary to doctors and nurses working on the second shift due to the extension of daytime inpatient working hours until 20:00 p.m. at family doctor’s offices, family polyclinics and multidisciplinary central polyclinics;

 Bonus money given to all employees of medical institutions in connection with professional and other holidays, as well as financial aid money.

Monthly percentage increases are made based on the rating system of medical institution employees.
