11517The verdict was read against Saidahmadkhan Mahmudkhojaev and eight other individuals, as reported by the QALAMPIR.UZ source.
It was noted that the convicts primarily committed crimes related to extortion, invasion, coercion, illegal deprivation of liberty, and drug-related offenses.
In particular, Saidahmadkhan Mahmudkhujaev was found guilty of committing the crimes specified under Article 165, Part 2, Clause "v" (large-scale extortion), Article 229 (arbitrary actions), and Article 276, Part 2, Clause "a" (unlawful preparation, storage, possession, transportation, or shipment of a large quantity of narcotic drugs, their analogs, or psychotropic substances without the intention of transfer) of the Criminal Code. He was sentenced to 11 years in prison.
According to the verdict, the remaining defendants received the following sentences:
- Umarov Avaz Rahimovich (born in Tashkent in 1967) was found guilty of committing the crime specified in Article 241, Part 1 of the Criminal Code (failing to report with clear knowledge of a serious or extremely serious crime being prepared or committed) and was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment.
- Umarov Oybek Avaz Ugli (born in Tashkent in 1991) was found guilty of committing the crime specified in Article 241, Part 1 of the Criminal Code, and was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment.
- Abdullaev Ahror Ravshan ugli (born in 1991 in Tashkent) was found guilty of committing the crime specified in Article 273, Part 2 of the Criminal Code (illegal preparation, acquisition, storage, and other actions to transfer narcotic drugs, their analogs, or psychotropic substances, as well as their illegal transfer) and was sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment.
- Umarov Dilmurod Rustamovich (born in Tashkent in 1989) was found guilty of committing the crime specified in Article 241, Part 1 of the Criminal Code, and was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment.
- Salimbekov Azamat Avazjonovich (born in Tashkent in 1988) was found guilty of committing the crime specified in Article 241, Part 1 of the Criminal Code, and was sentenced to 3 years in prison.
- Ahmedov Shahrukh Kayumjon ugli (born in Tashkent in 2000) was found guilty of committing the crimes specified in Article 138, Part 2, Clause "a" (unlawful deprivation of liberty with the use of physical pain), Article 164, Part 4, Clause "a" (a large-scale raid), and Article 165, Part 3, Clause "a" of the Criminal Code. He was sentenced to 16 years in prison, to be served in a strict-regime colony.
- Erkinov Fozil Iskandar Ugli (born in Tashkent in 1997) was found guilty of committing the crimes specified in Article 165, Part 1 and Article 241, Part 1 of the Criminal Code and was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment.
- Tursunov Sarvar Soyibjon ugli (born in Tashkent in 1991) was found guilty of committing the crimes specified in Article 138, Part 2, Clause "a", Article 164, Part 4, Clause "a", and Article 165, Part 3, Clause "a" of the Criminal Code. He was sentenced to 16 years in prison, to be served in a penal colony.
Two individuals were found innocent in the criminal case and were rehabilitated.
It should be noted that 40-year-old Saidahmadkhan Mahmudkhujaev was arrested in December last year during one of the "Urgent 40 days" actions against representatives of the criminal world.
