The deputy governor of the region became the governor of the city of Yangiyer

Nosirov, the son of Otabek Ural, was appointed the governor (hokim) of Yangiyer district of Syrdarya region.  This was reported by the press service of the regional administration.

Since 2019, Otabek Nosirov has been working as the deputy governor of Sirdarya region for youth policy, social development and spiritual and educational affairs.

Otabek Nosirov was born in 1976.  In 1999, he graduated from the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, in 2007 from the Academy of State and Community Development under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

"Otabek Nosirov did a number of positive things during his tenure as the deputy governor of the region.

We hope that through the work experience he has gained, he will know the driving directions of the city of Yangiyer and will work diligently on the socio-economic development of the city," said Gofurjon Mirzayev, expressing his opinion about the new mayor.

We remind you that the former governor of Yangiyer city, Ilyor Khojayev, died of illness on 8 July this year.
