Uzhydromet has issued a weather warning for December 15-17, predicting the arrival of humid and cold air masses across Uzbekistan.
According to the report, precipitation, including rain and snow, is expected throughout the republic on December 15 and the night of December 16. In some areas, the precipitation may be heavy. Wind speeds will increase to 13-18 m/s, with gusts potentially reaching 20-25 m/s in certain regions.
The air temperature will begin to drop on December 15, with nighttime temperatures from December 16-17 expected to range from 8 to 13 degrees below zero, and in some areas, it may reach as low as 15 degrees below zero. Daytime temperatures will range from 0 to 5 degrees below zero.
Icy conditions are expected on the roads during this period, which could lead to hazardous travel conditions.
