On 18-24 July of the current year, due to the expected high temperatures in the mountains, icy floods may be observed in the highlands and mountainous regions of the Fergana region from the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the Hydrometeorological Service Centre, the event is expected in particular in the Sokh, Fergana districts, and the Sokh, Shokhimardon, and Isfara rivers.
In this regard, citizens living in mountainous and highland areas, vacationers, and drivers traveling in mountainous areas are asked to take precautions.
It should be recalled that from 17 to 22 July of the current year the temperature in Uzbekistan is expected to rise to 47 degrees. This is due to the flow of hot air into the country from the territories of Iran through Turkmenistan.
