What will midsummer be like this year?

Uzgidromet has provided a report on the weather expected for the middle of this summer season.

According to their forecast, early July will bring favorable conditions. From July 1st to 3rd, temperatures will range from 31-36 degrees, with southern regions experiencing 38-40 degrees.

Temperatures in July are expected to be close to normal. Throughout most of the month, temperatures will hover around 35-40 degrees, while the south and desert areas may see highs of 41-43 degrees. On some days, temperatures could be 2-3 degrees above these averages.

The number of extremely hot days in July, with temperatures averaging 40 degrees or higher, is anticipated to be between 2 to 5 days in most areas of Uzbekistan, 6-8 days in the north, and 12-15 days in the south and desert regions. Recent years have shown a trend towards an increasing number of such hot days.

In certain areas of the republic, particularly in the foothills and mountainous regions, there is a chance of brief rain showers and localized thunderstorms on some days in July.
